AAMD believes that it is very important to provide support to the future growth of our profession by way of our students and educators. Investing in our students and schools will help sustain and advance the medical dosimetry profession, as well as improve the quality of patient care. As a result, the AAMD Board of Directors have created an Education Grant which will fund up to $20,000 toward each JRCERT accredited or applicant medical dosimetry program. AAMD is proud to invest in the education of future medical dosimetrists.
Potential uses for this AAMD Education Grant funding include computer hardware, software licenses, books, etc. AAMD grant funds may not be used for supplemental salary/stipend for any individual or organization. Grant funds shall ONLY be used for direct program expenses and not for administrative or program management costs or fees of the Grantee. Any Grantee proposed application of the grant funds for an indirect, administrative or program management expense or cost shall be disclosed in advance to AAMD and subject to AAMD’s written consent to such expenditure. A maximum of $20,000 will be granted to an individual JRCERT accredited or applicant medical dosimetry program at the discretion of the AAMD Board of Directors.
Applications will be accepted beginning August 1, 2023 through September 15, 2023.
