2026 Call for Nominations

The AAMD relies on the dedication of our volunteers to accomplish our mission. Members who answer the call to volunteer help shape the current and future direction of the AAMD. We would like all Full CMD Members to consider running for Board of Directors and Regional Representative positions as they become available.

For the 2026 AAMD Election, these positions are open for nominations:

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

President-Elect (3-year term)
Treasurer (3-year term)
Member-at-Large (3-year term)

REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVES

Region III Representative (3-year term) - Must reside in: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ontario (Canada), all other countries except Canada
Region IV Representative (3-year term) - Must reside in: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Brunswick (Canada), Newfoundland (Canada), Nova Scotia (Canada), Prince Edward Island (Canada), Quebec (Canada)

Sometimes it's best to chat with the current member who serves in the role to see "what it's really like." We are happy to connect you, if that will help answer any questions or concerns you have about running for a leadership position. Checklist for Online Nomination Application

Please review the following list of items that you will need to submit online during the nomination application process:

Professional Bio (200 words or less) - Written in third-person context (200 words or less). This will be posted on the AAMD Election Website & Ballot. It should highlight your education, work experience, qualifications, volunteerism and leadership experience.
Previous or current AAMD volunteer experience
Previous or current volunteer experience in other Radiation Oncology Societies
Community volunteer/prior leadership experience
Current CV/resume
Signed Employer Support Letter (Board of Directors ) or Employer Support Letter (Regional Representatives)
