Observation Sites
For Prospective Medical Dosimetry Students

Medical dosimetry programs will often require students to complete an observation of medical dosimetry prior to applying to their program. You will want to find a radiation oncology center near you and contact a medical dosimetrist to ask if they are willing to allow you to complete your observation requirement.

Due to recent hospital policies that often restrict student observations at their facility, we have designed this page to help students find radiation oncology sites that are willing to allow student observations. This is a new endeavor and certainly not the only sites willing to allow student observation. If you do not see a site near year, simply contact some radiation oncology facilities near you to ask about student observation in medical dosimetry.
