History of the AAMD

The AAMD Board of Directors established the Historian Committee in an effort to identify the origins of the organization as well as catalogue historical items of importance and maintain a historical database of organizational information. This effort is well underway but volunteers for the committee are essential to this effort. Any member who is interested in joining this committee is urged to contact AAMD Headquarters.

To our founding or longstanding members, we would appreciate your participation in this project. We are always looking for artifacts, documents, pictures etc. If you would like to donate items of this nature, please don't hesitate to contact HQ!
