The AAMD Education & Research Foundation will enhance cancer care and quality of life for patients receiving radiation therapy by promoting the critical role of the medical dosimetrist in the cancer community through support and advancement of education and independent research for medical dosimetrists.

Foundation History
The idea for the Foundation began in 2000. The dream came to fruition on March 11, 2009 when the IRS awarded us a 501(c)(3) status.
2012 Medical dosimetry student scholarship applications available now!
Required to be enrolled in a JRCERT accredited program and a member in good standing with AAMD.
Ready Now!
Grant application now available for Medical Dosimetry programs seeking accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. This grant was made possible through a generous donation from the American Association of Physicists in Medicine the Foundation (AAPM).
